
Pano Fountas is a composer, orchestrator, and pianist working across multiple media, from feature films and television series to video games and live concerts.
Always curious about different genres and eager to experiment with new sounds, Pano crafts scores of diverse style while maintaining a strong thematic core and classical sensibility. He has worked on a range of independent films, including the crime drama Penitentia (streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime), the romantic drama Upon Waking (Alternative Spirit Award winner at the Rhode Island Film Festival), and the historical drama 1805 (Official Selection at the Big Apple Film Festival).
Beyond his work as a composer, Pano has provided orchestration and music preparation for major projects, including Warner Bros' A Minecraft Movie, Columbia Pictures' Caught Stealing, 20th Century Studios' Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, CBS's Fire Country, and Obsidian Entertainment's The Outer Worlds 2. He has also served as part of music preparation teams for major concert productions at the BBC Proms and the Kennedy Center, featuring artists such as Dua Lipa, Sia, Tech N9ne, Mark Lettieri, and Cory Henry.
Pano has been awarded the NYU Alan Menken Scholarship by eight-time Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken. He holds a Master of Music in Screen Scoring from New York University Steinhardt and a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Classical Piano Performance from the Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow.
